to meet customer's needs. 

 The shop of highly qualified craftsmen can easily provide our customers with process engineering, 
CNC turning and milling, grinding services, short run production and gauging services
with dependability and quality guaranteed.

This is a family owned and operated company.  William A. Thomas Sr. established the company in August of 1972 with four employees in a 2,000 square foot building in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Nicknamed "Willow" as a child, (the real word is Wilio in Italian, meaning wild)  the choice for the company's name was an obvious one! 

Bill's tool making experience encouraged a steady growth quickly earned an excellent reputation.  In 1982, Bill moved the company to a new 7500 square foot facility in Strongsville, Ohio. 

With an outstanding shop team, the second generation of Thomas toolmakers have expanded the manufacturing capabilities and recently celebrated the entrance of the third generation to the family business.        
From the beginning, part of our philosophy has been to provide "standard-specials" as required; competitively priced, quality working tools.  But always a large part of our operation has been to constantly expand our ability to conceptualize new and innovate applications.
    Sometimes without prints, from a prototype; sometimes from a customer's sketch.  However, most often from an idea, a conversation, an unsolicited suggestion for an improvement.                   


    By analyzing our customer's availability of equipment, We can quickly determine the best way to machine competitively a quality finished product.   We can provide processing services to determine speeds, feeds and chiploads.  We utilize Mastercam for design and programming.

    Over the years our machines have gotten larger and more sophisticated......and so has our engineering services.

Within the controlled  environment facility we can maintain a maximum tolerance capability of +/- .00002.
