ROC/ROQ rotary encoders from HEIDENHAIN are characterized by their rugged design and compact dimensions. ROC/ROQ encoders are coupled to the drive or the spindle via a separate rotor coupling. Axial motion and misalignment (radial and angular offset) between the encoder shaft and the drive shaft are compensated by the coupling.
